cardiosport_gt2-for-blog.jpgHeart rate monitors offer several benefits however there are some situations that exist for the average person.  The person who own a heart rate monitor watch is not very clear of it’s function and don’t use the monitor to it’s full potential.  There are some who exercise of a regular bases but don’t own a pulse rate watch and do not know the advantages of owning one.  There are a number of reasons why anyone who is in a rehab program or workout regularly needs to know the benefits of owning a heart rate monitor:

1.     Avoid over Training: For the serious athlete to the weekend warrior both have a fine line between maximum training and an over training.  A benefit of owning a heart rate monitor watch is to prevent the body from possible injury from over stressing muscles and have the opportunity to workout at a high level of proficiency.

2.     Enjoyment: Using a HRM will offer you information that is specific to your body.  New technology has made heart rate monitors more easy to use, just a touch of a button and you have a range of information fed back to you.  Also, you will have the ability to test your limits and feel comfortable you will not injure yourself.  These monitors has limit settings and alarms to let you know if you are becoming at risk.  If you are a fitness center member then there is a HRM for you.  Some monitors can be used with gym equipment to increase your enjoyment of your workout without loosing interruption from lost signals.
