Now is the best time to get started towards becoming as fit as possible. Aerobic exercise is a effective way of achieving fitness success. To achieve success you must keep your heart rate up at a certain level of intensity for a minimum of 20 minutes per workout. Your workout session, when done properly will increases your metabolism and burn fat and calories. A heart rate monitor watch is needed to insure that your heart rate is performing according to your sex and age. If your heart rate is beating to fast which is 85% or higher your workout can be counter productive. Your body will start to produce lactic acid which will hurt your muscles and decrease fat burn.
Heart rate monitors are excellent tools to prevent a counter productive exercise session. However, the first thing you must know is your maximum heart rate (MHR) and the way to determine your MHR is to subtract your age from the number 220. A popular aerobic workout program is interval training which has you performing exercises in 2 to 3 minutes intervals at you MHR. The interval process is dropping your intensity level between intervals and the working back up to your peak MHR. there are a range of heart rate monitor watches that will help you stay within your best workout zone thereby, maximizing your exercise session.
