When asked a question of a home cardio workouts, most of us think of treadmills for jogging and stationary bike machines for exercising. There are a list of other machines that are made for exercising the heart muscle however, you really don’t need these types of machines. A heart rate monitor watch is a must if you plan to do a cardio workout in the home or gym. The mind and body connection is the essential requirement you need for a great body workout. First make a plan that clearly defined the types of exercise will make up your workout program. Then set real list goals, short and long term goals that will meet your objects. Commitment is something you must have to be successful. Know what and how you will be working out each day of your exercise program.
Calisthenics is a good example of cardio workout because it is a fast pace exercise that produces a rapid pulse rate and endurance for the lungs. Also, calisthenics is a mixture of the use of body-weight and a full body exercise which works the muscle groups much better than a machine. It is recommended that the heart is monitored during your workout for: Max heart Rate,Resting Heart Rate, Target Zones and EKG Information. A cardio workout program should include 3-5 body weight exercise such as jumping jacks, push up, squats etc. Each exercises should be done in 10-12 reps at 30 seconds for each exercise. Each 10 minutes session is to be repeated. Reebok has a monitor that will record and keep track of your workout to make sure you are working a peak performance.
